In 2008, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework’s ACT Team will provide free e-learning professional development opportunities for the ACT vocational education and training community (e-pd in the @CT).
E-explorers for VET in Schools - Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 September
Places are available for this free two-day intensive ‘E-learning Explorers’ workshop on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 September, for VET in Schools teachers getting started in e-learning.
Moir Holmes (2007 ACT LearnScope Facilitator) will facilitate this two-day workshop, which is designed for teachers who are beginners to e-learning. It will enable teachers to develop online resources and use them in an online environment, like Myclasses (the learning management system used by the ACT Department of Education and Training).
Priority placement will be given to local public and private VET in Schools teachers. This workshop is also open to trainers unable to attend the July or August E-explorers workshop.
