Find out how e-learning innovation is changing the future of education, training and business at conVerge 08.

conVerge 08 is a unique opportunity for vocational education and training professionals, business and industry leaders and registered training organisations who are interested in managing and leading change through the use of e-learning technology.

To be held on 4-5 December in Melbourne, the event will feature practical hands-on workshops and demonstrations of e-learning tools such as flickr, blogs, wikis, mobile technologies, moodle and e-portfolios.

conVerge 08 will also treat delegates to special keynote presentations by industry and education leaders from across Australia, including:

  • Dr Deane Hutton, Science Communicator and Futurist – How to switch students ON! Using business strategies in the classroom – Dr Hutton has been sharing his enthusiasm for science and technology through nationwide television programs for more than 20 years.

  • Robyn Archer, Manager of Learning and Development at Connex Ltd –  E-learning and organisational development in a corporate environment. Ms Archer has a wealth of experience in the development and implementation of training and education practices in manufacturing and transport industries.

  • Sue Waters, Aquaculture Lecturer from Challenger TAFE Western Australia – Personal learning networks – blogging and web 2.0 tools.
