Mothers wanting to return to the workforce, redundant workers wanting to re-train and people without a post-school qualification are the big winners under the Brumby Government’s $316 million overhaul of the training sector. Skills and Workforce Participation Minister Jacinta Allan said the Brumby Government’s reforms would make Victoria’s training sector more accessible to all Victorians. We have 1.6 million people in this state without a post-school qualification - yet we are faced with an increasing shortage of skilled workers,” said Ms Allan. Through these reforms, we will provide a Government supported training place for every eligible Victorian who wants one
