Sessions for April and May 2008:RPL and e-learning resourcesCome and learn how to:· share RPL (recognition of prior learning) resources and strategies · find and use some great e-learning resources for vocational education and training (VET)As well as take the opportunity to discuss, network and learn from your training and business colleagues!Provided by the national training system’s e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework), these online web-conferencing sessions can be accessed by selecting the correct link below (Note: session access opens one hour before the scheduled time). These unique learning and networking opportunities are free and require no registration, but you must have access to headphones and a microphone and have installed and configured the Elluminate web-conferencing software beforehand. First time users are advised to configure Elluminate before hand, and if any problems are encountered contact Jyothi Jayaram (see below).

But with Flexible Learning Toolboxes (Toolboxes), and a simple teaching model, it is very easy to create an engaging and satisfying learning experience for your students. Toolboxes are high quality, cost effective products featuring scenarios, images and interactive activities that simulate real-life, and are designed for use by registered training organisations (RTOs), business and industry.The ACT and WA Toolbox Champions will demonstrate the necessary steps using the new Build Right and Retailer Toolboxes from the 2008 Series 10 Toolbox range.Presenters: Helen Lynch, the ACT Toolbox Champion, has a background as an educator and flexible learning enthusiast in the VET and university sectors in NSW.Stuart Knox, the WA Toolbox Champion, has been involved in the Framework’s New Practices in Flexible Learning projects, is an experienced instructional designer and has a background in teaching across the globe. |
