This has been developed to assist Learning Choices programs and schools to understand and identify your program’s strengths and weaknesses. It also enables you to see how your program rates against the average of all programs using OSAT, and provides a comprehensive list of relevant resources which are freely available to download from the website.
A survey of programs who have used OSAT found that it was most useful to:
* Inform their strategic planning process
* Guide their planning prior to an audit
* Unify diverse parties (staff/organisations) to an identified common cause rather than individual outcomes
* Guide future projects
* Access relevant resources relating to areas of their program that could be improved
The tool is freely available online. To find out more and to register visit http://www.dsf.org.au/learningchoices/assessmenttool/
