‘The First Learning Festival in Urugay’ has just taken place. Organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture it aimed to value, celebrate and spread the importance of lifelong learning, youth and adult learning.
It was attended by among others represenataives from NIACE and Sweden.

High-Level Group on Education for All meets in Dakar

The president of Senegal and UNESCO’s Director-General will open the Seventh Meeting of the Education for All (EFA) High-Level Group in Dakar, Senegal, from 11-13 December.
At the halfway point to 2015 - the internationally-agreed target date to achieve EFA- the meeting is expected to produce key recommendations to step up progress.
