National Science Week 2007

The Australian Government will fund 40 projects as part of National Science Week which runs between 18 -26 August, this year.
$500,000 will go towards the funding of projects including The Great Big Science Gig and Mathemagical Mystery Tour.

Universities get $58 million for student services and facilities

The Hon Julie Bishop announced funding for a range of facilities from sporting fields to medical centres to be built at universities today.
The 37 new projects have been funded under the Voluntary Student Unionism Transition fund and the Support for Small Businesses on Regional University Campuses Programme.
